These specially designed recipes are naturally high in disease-fighting beta carotene, iron and zinc, and vitamins E, C, D and A, to support a healthy immune response. The kinds of ingredients they contain include vegetables such as capsicum, tomatoes, cruciferous vegetables, carrots, pumpkin, sweet potato, spinach, kale, plus healthy proteins such as salmon, barramundi, chicken thigh or rump steak.
These recipes may also contain nuts and seeds, dairy products (cheese and yoghurt), lentils and legumes. And the recommended cooking oil for these recipes is extra virgin olive oil.
